3 Reasons to Paint with Art in the Archives

Posted by Kari Whaley on Feb 2, 2016 11:00:00 AM

1. Spend time with Mom This is the perfect date to show Mom how much you appreciate her. Create a new memory painting together, and indulge Mom in snacks and sips while she creates her own artwork on canvas.

2. Private, after hours tour of the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum

Enjoy all the History Museum has to offer by jumping in a private tour before the painting begins. This will be your last chance to view the Solidarity: The Evolution of Media and the Civil Rights Movement in Florida temporary exhibit before it closes the following week.

3. Bring home a Florida Highwaymen-esque masterpiece

The Florida Highwaymen, a group of self-taught, landscape artists, vibrantly chronicled Florida’s natural beauty. Display your own interpretation of their impactful work.
