The Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Experience Kissimmee and X Factor Institute offers an amazing program to local hospitality businesses called the Kissimmee is Me Ambassador.  This free program gives area businesses an opportunity to make lasting connections with each other, as well as a chance to learn some tried and true customer service techniques.

Our group gathered, bright and early, at the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce for check in before boarding the bus that would whiskus away to Wild Florida. However, each gathering features a different local business or attraction, making each outing a unique experience. Your group attends a seminar geared towards customer service satisfaction. The seminar focuses on working in groups, which, for myself, mirrors my relationships with my coworkers and staff. Without the support and creativity of all those working at Osceola County Historical Society we wouldn’t be as successful. This session emphasized making a connection with your guests and creating memorable moments.  When it was over, I felt charged and ready to take back what I had learned to my staff so we can continue to offer each visitor to the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum & the Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek excellent service.

After the seminar, we had a chance to go on an air boat ride before heading back to the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce. I can say with complete assurance, after such a wonderful day, I will be seeking out further opportunities to discover what Osceola County has to offer.
