Osceola County Historical Society hosts Art in the Archives: Paint Night, and the next event is right around the corner! Join us on January 10, 2018, for a fun filled and educational evening. Spend time with friends and family as you stroll through the museum during this exclusive after-hours event.  Visit the temporary exhibit, the inspiration for the current painting – Historical Health: Hospitals and Cure-Alls. After the tour, adjourn to the Buster Kenton room for a two-hour art lesson, complementary beverages, and nibbles.

Art in the Archives: The Artist's Experience

I've attended a few of the Art in the Archives Paint Night events held at the Osceola County Welcome Center and History Museum which are hosted by the Osceola County Historical Society, and each one has been better than the last. It gives us all a chance to pretend we are artists,  we can relax and leave all stress at the door.   No pressure.  Just do your thing and at the end of the night you just might have a masterpiece worthy to hang on the wall.  (Not in my case, but, I do enjoy trying!)
