13 tips to help you conquer the Young Friends Pub Crawl

When it comes to the Young Friends of the Osceola County Historical Society, they've got one goal in mind for their organization—raising money to award a scholarship to an Osceola County high school senior who is majoring in history or museum studies or has volunteered at least 40 hours with the historical society.

When it comes to how they raise their money for this scholarship, they have one theme behind their fundraising—a little mingling mixed with adult beverages (for those who are 21 and up of course!).

Throughout the year they host various Historic Happy Hours and once a year they host their annual Pub Crawl.

Young Friends of the Osceola County Historical Society Scholarship Recipient: Angel Jimenez

The Young Friends of the Osceola County Historical Society awarded Angel Jimenez as their annual scholarship recipient this year. The scholarship was created to recognize outstanding high school seniors who are dedicated to preserving the history of Osceola County. Young Friends of the OCHS is a member and volunteer group created to assist in the preservation and education of the residents and visitors about the rich past of our county. With their fundraising efforts growing year-by-year it has allowed for them to impact more young adults looking to attend post-secondary schooling.
